Cats have a meowgical ability to tell when their owners are distressed. Ours always know when we've had a bad day and are extra cuddly during those meowments.

When our best friend passed away, they didn't leave our side for weeks. They followed us around the house with extra determination and insisted on doing, quite literally, everything with us. It was the only time they've ever willingly gone into the bathroom with us. They're usually terrified of the shower, but during those weeks they would wait patiently outside of the shower, and would paw at the glass if they felt we were taking too long.

Now, grief is one thing, but being sensitive to an illness is a whole other story! The pawrent in this post was furious with his midnight menace cats. They would wake him up at all hours of the night, multiple times, every night. This led him to discover that he actually has sleep apnea, and they were waking him up because they sensed his breathing had stopped. They were actually saving his life! 

It's crazy that some animals know how to alert for certain behaviors when some animals go through rigorous training for years in order to do so. These kitties must only really love their hooman! Maybe it's time for us to start having service cats as well? Sounds purrfect to us!

At work, everyone's counting down the seconds until they can take their lunch break and escape the cubicle lifestyle for an hour. Who would've thought that the employees in this story would end up rescuing a kitten climbing from car engine to car engine when they should be eating their second meal of the day? Not me! But they couldn't be happier to welcome a new office kitten into their work environment.

If you work in an animal-friendly office, you know how much a dog or a cat visiting during the workday boosts everyone's mood and morale. It's unfortunate that some folks have allergies to the furry fellas, but in an office that is animal-allergy-free, it's like heaven. I, myself, work in a dog-friendly office, and having a pup climb into my lap during a meeting or begging me for pets while I'm staring off into space is like winning the lottery.

The employees in this next story rescue a kitten, whose name might end up being "Smudge" (because of the engine oil all over her fur—adorable). Cats and belly rubs are like a game of "Catch Me If You Can." They roll over, exposing their fluffy tummies like it's a welcome mat only to suddenly unleash a surprise attack with claws and teeth the moment you get too comfy. It's their version of a plot twist.

You think you're about to enjoy some quality snuggle time, but nope! That belly is actually a secret danger zone, a furry no-go area marked with invisible "Beware of Attack" signs. We all love a good scroll. Oh, that old Cat Distribution System, it seems that no matter what you do you cannot escape it. Much like a cat stalking their prey. Which makes this story all the more hilarious when you consider that the kind rescuer tried their best to avoid being delivered another cat, but the CDS just bided their time, keeping a close eye on the rescuer, waiting for the purrfect moment to pounce and deliver her two new cattos.

And that is exactly what it did, well without the need to actually pounce, but if it had not come up behind her and proverbially smacked her in the face, then there is a chance she would have tried to run away. Love finds a way in the most surprising of places, sometimes. It can come from a meowther cat taking in an orphaned litter of kittens, from finding a stray kitten on the side of the road, or between two unlikely animal friends. But what would life be without its little surprises that keep our days interesting? They fill our kitty-shaped hearts with joy, purrs, and wholesome feline feelings.

Feral cats are not known for being the friendliest cats. They can take a long time to warm up to hoomans and adjust to indoor life. But usually, when they finally relax, they are the biggest cuddle bugs. That's what happened below, after one animal lover spent months befriending a feral cat to turn her into a house cat and join their fuzzy family. The transition was ruff, but then she met her pawrents' 100 lb. rescue dog. We can't say here what he was rescued from, but it was not a pretty situation.

The two scarred souls found comfort in each other, and now they are furrever snuggle buddies. It's the purrfect story to inspire some misty eyes, a sniffle, and hope. You know where to find it!

If you're having trouble staying awake today, you're not alone! Once Wednesday hits, it's like our brains hit a deep-freeze button and all our motor functions start to slow down. It's a struggle to keep our eyes open even after three times our normal amount of Starbucks. We've tried everything, from chewing gum to doing jumping jacks, and nothing can change our midweek mood from sleepy to, well, anything else. 

But if there is one piece of advice we will always remember from our dad, it's this: if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

And who is better at napping in inconvenient places than cats? These purrfect creatures can fall asleep literally anywhere in almost any shape pawssible. In positions so twisty you can't tell which way is up or down. These cute kitties below are here to tell you that it's okay to close your eyes and sleep under your desk for 11 minutes, surely nobody will notice, right? Or maybe you can curl up in a bathroom stall for four minutes and get some shut-eye while you pretend to use the litter box. They won't stop you, that's for sure.

When a cat lover witnesses a feline friend in need, they do not hesitate to help. That is why when TikToker @feebegg saw a stray cat get hit by a passing truck, she jumped into action. Though it broke her heart to see this cat this way, she scooped him up and walked to the closest vet clinic. She was crying the entire way and even after she left because she was certain they were going to have to put the sweet guy down. She hugged the boy the whole way there and cried when he left her arms. 

Luckily, less than a week later, the vet givers her a call to inform her that he is now doing great. They were able to stabilize him and now he is healing all up! They also tried their hardest to find his owner, but it would appear that he is homeless. So they asked if she would like to adopt him? Oh, feebegg jumped at the opportunity. Now her fur family has another sweet soul and they couldn't be happier! 

Hello cat pawrents, fellow feline fantaics, and the Crazy Cat Lady in the corner with 15 cats on her lap. How is this week treating you? Yes, we know, we're all stuck at work, doing tasks, answering emails, and making some expert-level avoidance of kitchenette smalltalk. We've all been there, and we know the first thought that comes to all of our minds, like a floofy and meowing hivemind - we just want to get back to our cat back at home. That's it.
