Found out in a round about way that mom spent the weekend being visited by cousins Debbie and Matt. It is hard to just let this go and be okay with whatever bullshit story she is telling them about us. I have to let it go. I just have to. But....grrrsssss.

She was always going to do something like this, I think. I've spent a lot of cycles wondering about what poison she's tipped into the ears of people who might know me, and I've had to work hard on letting that go.

If people want to know, they can ask. And I'll tell them that she was an abusive parent who works hard at manipulating everyone instead of being genuine, and she was too dangerous for me to keep contact around. And if anyone pushes, I'll mention all three of her children have CPTSD, so do the math. And that's the last answer I'll give.

It has to be enough, otherwise I end up following the root of worry back to the tree of Paying Attention To Rebecca. And that's the poison tree for sure.
