Uh oh

I am beginning to loose faith in the guy running Hallowballoo. First he told me that he did not get my check. Then I put a stop payment on it and told him that I would Paypal him. Then he emailed that he had found the check an d put it in the wrong pile. He offered to pay the stop payment fee. I said, okay, I will Paypal you the original amount less the fee. He then emails me asking why would I send him money if I had already paid for it?
