Another year another...

Friend in hospice care. Actually she went in late last year. We had not heard anything for awhile. Good news, bad news. She is getting stronger, but her memory and communication skills are going. She sometimes does not know her husband or other people and keeps asking when she can go home. *sigh*
While this is not a "close" friend, she is someone that is part of our circle of the wagons against the universal crap going on out there. Cancer sucks.
We are also going to be going to another memorial service next Saturday.People flying in from out of state for that one. It will be good to see those that we don't see very often now. Seems like we only see them at funerals and conventions, and since we don't really do conventions any more.......
I know, the circle of life....but it still sucks to have so many fall by the wayside.
