myself down. Loren has been having strange reactions to a new med. Of course, he was already having some of these symptoms before the meds. Anyway. last few days he has had blurred vision in his right eye and loss of balance and more twitching than usual at night. went to see the new doc today and she had him stay for an eye exam and an MRI.
All I can think of is a brain tumor or a stroke. He is coming home before the MRI to get some food in him. We have nothing in the bank at the moment for him to go and eat on. So, he will get here on the bus and get something to eat and then go back on the bus, because we do not have enough gas or money for parking. Also, there is still a lot of snow and with the tires and brakes being as they are, we no drive on snowy hills.
Surely if the Gawds are good, there will be nothing wrong. Unfortunately my brain is convinced that some thing dire is up.The MRI is at 4:30 this afternoon. Please think good thoughts for my little crab.

Date: 2019-02-07 09:25 pm (UTC)I will keep you posted. He has not gotten home yet. I have to get my shit together before he does. I can't let him see me scared right now. If it does turn out to be something, then ok. But not until we know what is what.

Date: 2019-02-07 11:07 pm (UTC)What I know now is that his blood pressure is way too high. We knew that already. It is one of the side effects of the new meds. The eye doc says that he has cataracts, but they are not that bad right now. Seems that they have been in the same state for several years now. He has scarring on his right retina from the sarcoidosis. He can wear an eye patch for now until they get it all figured out. He will have the MRI at 4:30 pm this afternoon. The doc doe snot think that there is anything wrong, but wants to make sure. I am all for that. Especially after the last doc told him to take probiotics and become a vegan to cure everything. I will keep you guys posted as I know more. He had some food and I sent him off with some fruit and power bars and the laundry quarters. Wheeeee.........

Date: 2019-02-08 03:01 am (UTC)Home again. They said that he might have had a mini stroke, but since they did not keep him, I am guessing the MRI was not too scarey. They will give him some sort of results in the next 48 hours.
